During
the last part of August 2007, My Trip was
organized by Visit Nepal-Tibet Treks
& Expedition of Nepal (Mr. Birendra).
I went on the Annapurna Base Camp
Trail with Uttar guiding me. It was quite
an experience to do this during the Monsoon
season. We had two days of never stopping
rain. The trail was more like a stream with
the water pouring down. In spite of my poncho
and umbrella which I was carrying (!), everything
was soaking wet. Oh yes and then there were
the leeches... But we were lucky and also
had a few sunny days when we were able to
see with awe the Annapurna mountain range
and the holy Fishtail Mountain. In spite of
the rain, it was a fascinating, most enjoyable
tour. I came by myself, but throughout the
trail could meet nice people on the trek.
Uttar was a great guide. The trip left a deep
impression on me. As one of the ladies I met
on the way told me later, life seems to have
become easier after having done that trek.
Whatever is the magic of the Himalayas, I
definitely want to come back!

Hi Birendra,
My family and I are doing well, since I returned
to San Francisco. My family and I would like to
thank you for your hospitality in Kathmandu. It
was gracious of you to come visit us at our Hotel
every morning to ensure that our needs are attended
to.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kathmandu. We
found Samsara Resort Hotel in Thamel comfortable,
the staff friendly and the breakfast excellent.
The hotel is really in a convenient location and
we girls (my mum, sister and I) absolutely love
shopping in the Thamel area. Salik Ram Thapa,
the tourist guide you provided us was knowledgeable.
He introduced us the Temples & City with proper
explanation, informing us of culturally and religiously
important structures. My dad was impressed with
Thapa's spiritual teachings.
Once again, much thanks for organizing our unforgettable
trip to Kathmandu July 2007.
We will definitely contact you. We should plan
another trip to Nepal.
Cheers,
(Joseph, Joyce, Galen, Jacinth, & Jasmine).

By surfing
on the Internet, the Visit Nepal-Tibet Treks &
Expedition is the only agent that I found who organize
this kind of honey-hunting trip, that’s why we contacted
them, and we found them doing a great job of guiding us
through the magnificent villages and wonderful views before
reaching the hunting site. Even though we camp all the way,
but their team of porters takes good care of everything
from the camp setting and nice cooking, we enjoyed a great
deal.
This honey-hunting tour allows us to witness the wonderful
and mythical practice of Gurung people’s still thriving
hunting skill that is almost finished in other parts of
the world. And the honey hunters village ¡§ Bhujung¡¨ is
the one of the most beautiful village I ever seen, not to
mention the hospitality of the local people. Can only say
that I left my heart in Bhujung.
My
First Trip to Nepal was in October 1993. I was with a few
friends from the US & Canada. We were doing the Annapurna
Circuit Trek and Birendra was our Guide. He did a very good
job for us. We enjoyed the Trek a lot and Birendra was a
key part of our amazing trip.
Again I did the Trek with Mr. Birendra in 1998 up to Manang.
He made all the necessary arrangements and again I had a
great time. I am looking forward to seeing Birendra &
Nepal again soon. I can recommend Birendra and his services
enough.
